URBAN THREADS | EPISODE 2 | POLY FASHION ETHICS

When we set out to do this web series we wanted to talk about style as it relates to 3 trans women from south Auckland. One of the things we wanted to cover was fashion ethics and how it impacts people like us and what we can do to make better choices as consumers.

Truth be told, the current political climate in NZ isn’t really conducive to social commentaries on Poly fashion. There is real world shit going down in our communities and people are having a hard time with issues like homelessness and trying to provide for their families.

So this month we’re just gonna keep it 100 and reflect on the priorities for Poly peeps at the minute and get you guys and gals and inbetweeners to reflect on ways you spend your ca$h money.

This month on the show we cover #PolyFashionEthics, #FuckBoySwag, #FastFashion and #CatfishClothes. The girls exercise some #ReWearIt philosophy with our rubbish bag challenge and photo shoot with this months guest photographer Jermaine Dean which can be seen above as this months promo image.
